Am on vacation next week, so just posted an update for Will for the GFS ensemble download from NOAA. Apparently the GEFS will be getting better soon.

Further to Nicks note see
On or about Tuesday, October 13, 2015, beginning with the 1200
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) run, the National Centers for
Environmental Protection's (NCEP) Global Ensemble Forecast System
(GEFS) will be updated.
The GEFS will include a major upgrade with 0.5 deg resolution output. Time steps will apparently reduce from 6 hours to 3 hours.
