WX Data download Certificate Error
When trying to download grib files from Expedition or Saildocs the program shows error "the host name in the certificate is invalid or does not match - error".
Expedition 12.8.9
Windows 11 25H2 fully updated (software and firmware) (AMD hardware on Lenovo Yoga)
Troubleshooting done:
Verified expeditionmarine.com works in browser
Disabled TLS versions to isolate issues (1.3 and 1.2 connect but errors, anything older is off)
Wireshark packet capture shows successful TLS handshake to 20.105.232.40
Gave windows user explicate FULL rights to C:\ProgrameData\Expedition and subfolders
Moved laptop to different network
Manually imported expeditionmarine.com certificate into store

I have seen this in the past from Saildocs, but both seem ok form here.

Turns out in the Settings -> Internet panel, in the Connection section, "Prefer https" was checked. When I unchecked that and selected "Prefer DNS", that fixed it. Everything is working fine now.

It might have been the DNS option. Deselecting that is really only needed for Iridium.
