    ENC NOAA charts

    Why aren't my ENC chart showing details. I updated the the Great Lakes file 13 from NOAA today, replacing my exiting and it still doens't show details.

    Can you explain more?

    Did you reimport the charts?

    I used the Expediton site and uploaded new ENCs into the Expedition directory which is called Expedition\Charts\ENC_ROOT. The last part of the name was what the upload labeled it as. Then I selected Lake Michigan within the chart tab and opened it.  When i didn't find any details, I tried Lake St. Clair at the Detroit River and didn't get any details in that small area.

    I suggest clearing Exp's ENC database and re-importing the charts.

    You should do this whenever you replace your charts.
