    VMC Routing

    I'm not aware if Exp has this capability:  It would be nice to see the route taken from point A to B if at each step in a grib one just sailed the best current VMC toward point B.  So no forward looking optimization. 

    The comparison from this feature to an optimized route might give some insight into how much an optimized route is "investing" in the weather.

    It would be worse than that as it would almost always be slower than just sailing a direct route.
