    When booting up, freezes while Initialising instruments

    Hey guys -

    When I am not on the boat and I load up Expedition, it hangs up on initialising instruments and stops loading.  Any ideas how to fix that?

    What are the instruments?

    Websockets do take longer to time out.

    That would make sense, B&G websocket .. thats the best way to connect to the new B&G Hercules system right?

    I've got this same problem now, it used to be OK, but now the 4D and Navionics versions both just hang permanently at 'initialising instruments' when away from the boat.  I can't check on the boat for a few days unfortunately.

    I did update to the latest version, no luck.  Would you have any suggestions on files or keys to check or where I can view the B&G websocket timeout please?

    There is another topic on this.

    Windows 10?

    There seems to be a conflict between recent Microsoft updates here and a dll on Windows 10. It doesn't always occur.

    Working on it now ...
