Re: Magnetic Model 2025
Sigh. I've been beating my head against the magnetic model wall for weeks and can't get any joy.
I installed the latest version (4D 12.3.9).
I found and deleted WMM2010.COF and WMM2015.COF from c:\programdata\expedition\config.
I downloaded the magnetic model zip file from the Expedition web site and extracted wmm.cof and wmm2025.cof to the config directory.
I uninstalled Expedition and reinstalled Exp_4D_12_3_9.
Every time I start expedition, I get 'error loading...' and magnetic information is unavailable.
What am I doing wrong?

Are you actually running Expedition 12?
Check the ? at the top right to see the version.
If not, have you uninstalled Expedition 11 4D as per the download page?
If you have Expedition 12, do NOT copy the wmm files. It isn't necessary and that isn't the correct location anyway. Delete the ones you have copied to the data folder.

Bingo! I had three different versions (all showing as 12.something). After uninstalling all of them and reinstalling 12.3.9 (and deleting the .cof files), the error is gone. Thanks!
