Chart resolution - not sharp displayed (but rest is)
Hi Nick,
Ever since upgrade to v12 my 4D charts are being displayed not sharp and with very fat letters/lines. It causes me to believe it is a resolution setting. However the rest of Expedition (i.e. number boxes, menus, basically anything not charted) is showing properly though.. see the screenshot attached.
It looks like it is loading two exactly the same maps and showing them on top of each other. However I have only one map downloaded and active. No other ENC/RNC's, or overlays..
I have now tried about everything (including reinstalling the whole package), but to no avail. Also, I tried with different display settings of my pc itself, but this also doesn't change anything (only making the rest of Expedition also look different, but the chart resolution changes with it).. I also tried all kinds of chart settings in Expedition, didn't solve it either..
In v11 it was showing nice and proper, which makes be believe it is not a system setting.. Would you have an idea??
I'm running v12 4D on a 64 bit laptop, windows 11, with Intel i7 and iRIS graphics.

In v12, the C-Map charting is now shown in device independent pixels rather than physical pixels so the scaling is as C-Map intended. This just affects (high DPI) monitors where windows scaling is set to be higher than 100%.
