Using the GND 10 USB port I was able to get TWS, TWD, etc from my Garmin instruments except a GPS fix. Does the GND 10 support sending GPS position?
Also, would it be worth a personal NMEA 2000 to USB converter if I plan to be moving from boat to boat often? If so, does anyone have recommendations?
Thanks!

I presume it does.
Any of the Actisense NGX/NGT or Digital Yacht iKonvert.

I am almost 100% sure I used the GND10 as gps source (any many others) on charter yachts. I plugged the USB (mini!) in, ran the expedition garmin app, and took everything. I think you can still find the Nexus app too, and have a look with that, it also allows you some more functions.

Hello there!
You may have found an answer to your question, but I run a GND 10 with Expedition and it 100% sends GPS data to Expedition. I have it sending all NMEA 2000 data elements available on my network to Expedition and I have Expedition pushing data to display polars on one of my GMI20s. Have you installed the latest Garmen USB drivers and what version of software are you running on the GND 10?
