Sail Chart

How to do modify the parameters? I made an attempt to creating sail chart many tears ago but have forgotten how to do it. Want to make more accurate.

Re: Sail Chart

Hi,
My expedition latest update, shows "Out of Memory", never seen that before.
New computer with a lot of power, the computer is only used for Expedition.
At the same time, the charts have disappeared? the window where the charts should be is black and I can't get into "store" or "my chart" on C-MAP via expedition.
I have used "repair" didn´t work, should I uninstall and install again, can I do it?
I also have the other two versions on my computer. The "original" works, I don't use 64x.
Will my saved data be affected if I uninstall?

Re: Sail Chart

I presume you mean 4D charts?

That could be a C-Map issue. You could try reinstalling the C-Map Maps Manager.

You can get to MyMaps and the store with these links.

Re: Sail Chart

Hi Nick

Thanks for quick reply.
Yes 4D charts and Exp4D.
Have reinstalled Map-manger, uninstalled and reinstalled the charts. Unfortunately no improvement.
Got an additional message I haven't seen, "A required resource was unavailable", from Expedition and also earlier "out of memory".
After that, Expedition locks.
Something wrong in the register ?

Re: Sail Chart

Does (eg) the MAX version work?

Have you loaded very large grib files? The 32 bit apps are limited in how much memory they can use.

You could use the Expedition System restore app and/or move/delete the Exp data folder.

Re: Sail Chart

Thanks, it worked.
The problem was what you described combined with me "accidentally" streaming AIS data via .io.
