B&G Hercules - Polar interface
Hi I'm setting up a new system with a new B&G Hercules. but i'm missing a lots of functions in the instrunents section which i used to have with the H5000 Hercules such as polar transfers,wind calibration, extrenal channels etc.... the systeem receive all the data from the processor, i see the raw data coming in, so their is a connection, I can log to the Hercules form the PC without any issues.
Connection ; B&G websocket
Version Expedition : latest
Ip address of PC and Hercules processor are fixed
All is connected using a Teltonika router
Any ideas why this is not working ?

It should work (I had it operating as it should 10 days ago). I'd contact B&G to solve.

Hi All, no luck so far, no response from B&G, tried to re-install the software without success, remove the router in between the processor and the PC using fixed Ip address (Firewall issues), nothing. Could a pin code on the process block functions ?

Another possibility is the H5000 level. The Hydra version can't do some things.

What is the the difference compared to the H5000 hercules.

Hi Nick,
to the best of my knowledge their is no level anymore, you just buy the processor(called hercules), i did not find anywhere an menu to unlock different level like Hydra/hercules or hercules performance which is still with the H5000 Processor.

I think you are right - there are just Edge, Hercules, HerculesWtp and Expansion as processor types.
Which version of Exp? The current release works with my Hercules.

Hi, is there a solution to the problem? I have the same problem:
I can access the Hercules via PC and web-interface. In Expedition I use the websocket i/0. But Expedition doesn't recieve any data.

Does the interface in Exp say if the port is open or closed?
Is there anything in the raw data window?
