Re: Expedition data over Wifi to n2K (Garmin GNX 120)

1. yes connected to w2k
2. no data in the expedition raw data window
3. set up w2k as access point. data server settings are format: actisense n2k ascii; direction: transmit only; protocol: tcp; port 60001.

should i use a different port?

Re: Expedition data over Wifi to n2K (Garmin GNX 120)

I just tested it in the Office and it worked with these settings

1. Laptop connected to the W2K at 192.168.4.1
2. The W2K data server  Server 1 set to Actisense N2K ASCII, Transmit only, TCP, 6001
3. Expedition network port set to Actisense ASCII, TCP client, 192.168.4.1, 6001

The data can be seen streaming in on the raw data window, in number boxes etc.

It also works with the Actisense RAW (called ASCII RAW in the W2K web interface, but they may standardise that). However, I have a note in the help that the Actisense ASCII option is preferred in the W2K settings. I forget why, but it was probably a communication with Actisense.
