Great Lakes - Arpege Wave Model

I am experimenting with the Arpege wave model (from Squid) on the Great Lakes. Expedition successfully loads the file, but the contours and shading don't cover the entire basin of each lake. The WX Tooltip has data all the way to the shore.

Any explanation for why this is happening?

Re: Great Lakes - Arpege Wave Model

I think the 1/2 degree data is just too coarse for such small areas

Re: Great Lakes - Arpege Wave Model

Would that account for the contracted display of the data as shown below? I should have added that using the gradient or smoothed mode in Squid displays shading all the way to the shore.

Re: Great Lakes - Arpege Wave Model

Yes. 30nm resolution doesn't really have enough detail for a lake.

Exp shades between the data points, as you see above.

I just checked Squid and they shade around the data points a little. It doesn't mean there is any data there.
