Expedition 10.12.0

Apart from general improvements in many areas, this now has integrated hourly GFS at 0.11° and ICON at 0.125°. Also the Canadian global model GDPS at 0.25°.

Of course, the downside with higher resolution data is that the file sizes are larger.

Re: Expedition 10.12.0

The eGrob area download shows an error "requested URL not found" for all models I try to download with eGrib area. This is with 10.12.0.
It used to work fine before.

Re: Expedition 10.12.0

NOAA area download works fine.  the eGrib download of a pre-cut area via the right-mouse pop-up on the chart also works fine.

Only have a problem with an area download via the eGrib area buttton on the Weather Data panel.  After I have selected the area the pop up appears,  but whatever model or settings I choose I get the URL error once I try to download.

Re: Expedition 10.12.0

I am confused. There is an English channel, but that works here. There has never been a North Sea area.

Maybe mail me ...

Re: Expedition 10.12.0

Problem solved with the help of Nick.
Turned out I needed to re-enter the pasword for eGrib access into Expedition.

Re: Expedition 10.12.0

For some odd reason i cant get the DNMI models to work, seems like they are not recognized after updating...

file is downloaded, however it dont appear in dropdown selector. Weather optimizations says no wind on start. GFS from predict wind does. I would really like to get some help as we are doin a long distance race on Saturday and weather routing is useful..
