Isochrone interval

Is there a rule of thumb on the Isochrone Internal setting and the likely race duration?  (defaul t= 6 hours)

Re: Isochrone interval

EM, my rule of thumb with isochrones is visual rather than time-based.  I switch them on to show and I then may or may not choose a different timestamp.  I actually don't have them on the whole time.

Re: Isochrone interval

There are two isochrone intervals.

The interval used in the isochronal algorithm. Mostly this is best left at the defaults.

The display interval is whatever is best for your situation. Sailing across the Atlantic is different to a short race. I always have them and the reverse isochrones shown - they are often the most valuable part of the route optimisation.
