Marks into KND RaceReplay

How do I get my Exp Marks into KND RaceReplay?

Should they be in the daily log file or do I import their positions en masse?

Mark position is in the log file, but I don't know what KND does with it.

Re: Marks into KND RaceReplay

This is a bit complicated, but KND don't do anything with Expedition marks data other than start marks that I have ever been able to make work.  And this commentary applies only to W/Ls, the analysis you can get from mark roundings typically doesn't apply in passage races.
So to get marks in RR, import your logfile, create or drag in your event file (At sea I find it simplest to write things on paper, so I create the RR events file from scratch afterwards).  As you create the RR events file, at each mark you create events (sails up, sails down etc).  Having done that, Tools/Maneuvers/Mark Roundings/Add at Each Event creates a mark for each event.  If you have an event mid-leg - not normal in W/Ls - just delete the "Mark" so created.
And if someone has a simpler way, it would be nice.

To quote a previous Australian Prime Minister ... "life wasn't meant to be easy".  Fire me a PM if you want screenshots about how I do it in horrible detail.  I wish KND would do decent tutorials in English, my French is non-existent.  Sacre blueu!

Hi Nick, I can´t seem to find the marks in the log file. Do I need to do anything special for this? I am guessing it will only apear if I ping the marks? If I dont ping the marks is there a way to get them in the log file?
