I wonder if it is something mapped to a second boat.

No boats mapped on my installation which is a fresh install.  Can`t speak for other 2 examples as cannot access them now, but looks like own vessel and is in the track of own vessel when underway, and intermittently leavs the ghost icon, which stays in track until a more recent "ghost" is laid down by own vessl, which replaces/removes the old one.

You can query it to see what its MMSI is.

Mouse over your own ghost icon reveals no target information.

You can enter your MMSI number in the AIS settings, which will tell Exp to ignore it.

With NMEA 0183, your own vessel should be sent in the VDO sentence (vs VDM), but it isn't always.

All three vessels had their own MMSI entered in AIS settings, but still had this stale "ghost" of own ship appear randomly in the track.

Hi,

This has been something I have been chasing on own vesssel and recently witnessed the same behaviour in the S2H with different machines/installs in the race and on another boat on delivery back.
Issue - a "ghost" of your own vessel is sporadically left in your track.  This is a greyed out triangle.  I have attached a screenshot of own vessel(in marina currently but get the idea)  Over time it will be replaced by a more recent "ghost"
Transponders were all different (Vesper, Garmin, B&G) but using N2K network
The only common denominator I could find was that all were using Yacht Devices N2K interfaces for the AIS data - 1 vessel x USB, 2 vessel x Ethernet.  Data was RAW
I have checked /populated the own vessel MMSI field in Expedition.  I have also tried only using AIS over 0183, via Vesper Wifi and also via a direct USB to Vesper on my own vessel and still got the issue.

Has anyone else witnessed this and worked out a fix?

Ability to select in user shortcut button to the world chart(and a hot key eg "W" if this function is now working)
Reason - detailed AUSENC are slow and when selecting grib area find workflow and zooming faster in world chart view.

Ok I think this may be my assumption of how it works being incorrect.  Have been using PW offshore to download all gribs in a batch and made the incorrect assumption about the EXP grib button doing the same.
I thought that it would download ALL the gribs for the area selected - eg GFS, EC, Icon etc - however it seems I have to highlight the grib I want 1 at a time.
Would it be possible to be able to have a feature request to select multiple EX gribs to download when selecting an area?

I also just tried
- Delete all from grib folder
- Select Expedition gri option, uncheck and re-check all grib providers off/on
- changed date range to 5 days
- re-downloaded ok, but only GFS data showing when goto weather - "All models "dropdown and GFS is only model listed

The grib filename is EX_GFS011_21Apr23_132011.grb
Not sure if that indicates anything.

I just cleared all weather data, selected a region from Port Stephens to Yamba and offshore a bit, all the grib options were checked, but have only received GFS when downloaded.   Download was successful.
Any suggestions?

Actually looking further, did a restart, cleared all weather gribs and using the Expedition weather download, no data is coming for EC, Icon etc, only GFS/NCEP

Is there an issue with the Expedition gribs data for anyone else?  Have had this error for a few days.

Edit - I was able to run the optimals by manually importing EC/PW data files from Predictwind offshore, so seems to be an issue with the Exp area gribs data (at least for NSW coast)

Just tried running optimals for NSW coasts and getting this error.

Running ISO only, Ensemble routing
Using Saildocs RTOFS + EXP for NSW + WRF NSW
Runs the GFS route only, all others throw the unable to continue error.  Seems to be grib data available in these times.

EXP 11.19.1, 4D 32bit

Any ideas?
