Thanks Campbell, I looked at that and while it does place a mark it does not reposition the chart and cursor to that point.

Is there any way to enter a set of LAT/LON coords and move the cursor straight to that location?
It would be very useful for rapid location of Mayday / Nav Warnings etc.

In Navionics this is done with the Search Function.

I have used Race Notes to provide that sort of capability.

Awesome, thanks. Yes that's where it is "hidden".

Hi Nick,
I saw your post in facebook.
Copied below for others to see.
My question is: When I search for the egrib.xml file in my Expedition folders I can't find an existing version to copy over. I do have a wxmodels.xml file in the config folder (which looks very similar from content except for the Access Models). I put the egrib.xml file into the same config folder and restarted Expedition but could not see the Access Model when I tried loading Expedition Wx Data.
I have version v11.19.23
Any suggestions?
Regards, Ian
"This will be useful for Hobart. The excellent BOM ACCESS-C model at 0.013 degree resolution to 36 or 42 hours is now available on request fron the Expedition grib server.
Expedition WRF is still the highest resolution resolution grib forecast available for Sydney, but Access should be better and is available a lot earlier.
Update. For anyone that wants it, copy this file over the existing egrib.xml installed with Exp.

Hi folks,We purchased a YDWG and installed it in our boat prior to the Sydney to Hobart race this year.I am running Expedition on a laptop and had the YDWG in Access Point mode and had no problem getting the data from our Raymarine seatalk NG networked devices. However, I want to also be able to pull down weather GRIBs from the internet - for which I use my mobile phone as a hotspot (hoisted to the top of the mast on a halyard)
To do so during the race I had to disconnect from the YDWG and connect to the Mobile Hotspot. I would prefer to continue to be able to get the data from the YDWG while I'm downloading the GRIBs etc from the internet. Do you have any suggestions on a setup that would enable me to achieve parallel connections and still use the Mobile Phone at the top of the mast for Internet connectivity?
How have others solved this challenge?

Click on the Results button on the Optimal routing ribbon panel. The detail for each optimisation includes the bearing between points.

In the current version v11.16.0, using the dividers on the route displayed on the Chart it looks to me as if the bearing in the Routing Solutions Table is the direct bearing COG to the next "leg".
Is this correct and if so, does that mean we need to manually compute the CTS given set and drift (and leeway)? Or is there another place where we can get that info?

Hi Nick,
The original post is from 2018.
I do see the Set and Drift in the latest version, but is there a way to see a CTS in the routing solutions table - or is it somewhere else?

Hi folks,
I have the latest version installed. I can't get the weather gribs to load via a GO connection.
It makes the call and negotiates and connects but then after a while I get an error.
The exception is the Mercator current data. That works.
If I connect via a normal wifi connection I can load any of the models, but I get errors when using the GO.
What am I doing wrong?
