Expedition Navigation Software / Sending custom PGNs from Expedition

I want to send custom PGN 130845 controlling brightness to my B&G Vulcans. I have NGT-1 installed on my boat, but it's already used by Expedition. Is there anyway I can inject custom PGN to it either bypassing Expedition or having Expedition forwarding it?

PS The reason I wan to do it, the salt water keeps pushing the touch sensitive "power button" on deck mounted Vulcans and turning brightness off on all B&G displays

A common issue! I often touch lock the on deck displays.

My plan is to have a script where I specify desired brightness and night/day mode. This script will either send it periodically or if it sees that the different value was send from one of the instruments, thus disabling this power button functionality.

Another way to do it is just physically disconnect the FFC cable that goes from the button to main Vulcan PCB. That might break the warranty though :-)
