Hi,
I have used the Harmonics tide file that comes bundled with OpenCPN in Expedition and notice a variation in reported data between the 2 platforms - Expedition seems to display different to OpenCPN and expected data for a given date.

Any ideas?

That appears to be a bug in Exp supporting the old xtide format.

Have fixed & will post an update today. The values will have minor differences to Opencpn as the tide calculations are different.

Does the current Exp version support the x-tide file as used in OpenCPN - Is in program files (x86) tc data and is called HARMONICS_NO_US .  Also tried an older HARMONICS.txt and no go
Trying to get working on another boats install, using 12.1.11 Navionics, and exp sees the file, can check it but doesn`t import Australian tide stations under x-tide.  Is weird because works on my installs (which have been upgraded fro a tie where this harmonics file did work)

Yes, Exp supports the tcd format.

You could send the file.

They are essentially the same file. Try opening in notepad etc.

Just delete the .txt extension and copy to the Exp tides data folder.

Although I see Exp isn't reading them. Will investigate.
