Quick-Click Event Buttons
Was talking to a fellow navigator and we both agreed that a 'one (or 2)-click' pre-filled event buttons would be nice.
Mostly, I would use this for 'Sails Up/Sails Down', but could theoretically be pre-programmed to any event. For offshores, driver change - (with Driver name in notes) for example.
The current 'Set Event' dialogue could be utilised with a 'Save as Quick Event' button #x. (Of course, the time and date would be set to 'Here and Now'.)
In a normal inshore race I may have 4 or 5 sail combos, so 4 or 5 quick buttons should be enough.
Just a thought.

Take a look at Campbell’s apps. They add expedition events in that way.
And consider Onboard Assistant from sailing performance. Very comprehensive and easy to use with one or two clicks. Also can log much much more and integrated with Race Replace for proper performance analysis.

Used the KND stuff before, but currently don't have it. I'll look at Campbell's apps.
I wouldn't have thought it too difficult to squeeze into Expedition.
Anyway soon we'll have the RFID sewn into the halyard... no need any clicks!

The iPhone and Android apps do have this functionality.
Alternatively, take a look at the apps on my resources page The sail logger app can have custom buttons, currently only to a file, but if there is interest I could make this direct to Expedition. The base app was for me as I needed to have a simple way to count sail hours live in a long offshore to manage the inventory. It is a bit rough around the edges, does some things well, some not.
SailingPerformance OBA is probably best for your needs as it is well tested and does everything very well.
