AI Feature - Instrument Calibration
How about developing an AI assisted calibration routine. Make an easy way to frequently calibrate and recalibrate instruments without requiring much human intervention.

I love this idea. Another idea is to put the information in the cloud, so that other people can develop such software.The current need to manual move data off the boat makes it impractical, if it was automatic as in whenever access to the internet was detected the software uploaded to the cloud we might see a day where your idea is workable.

Sailing performance has a dedicated calibration tool. While it doesn't use AI (yet) it's pretty straight forward.

There is no need for AI for calibrating sensors, and it would a waste of resources.
Simple ML and proper well known mathematical models will do and help.
