Autosave?

We're using Expedition on a cruising boat undertaking a circumnavigation.  Occasionally when I get back to my nav laptop I find that Expedition has restarted, resulting in the loss of my recent optimal routes as well as my recent selection of grib files (the files are still there, but the selection of them in the "weather data settings" is lost).  I don't know for sure whether Expedition has crashed (would it automatically restart on a crash?) or the laptop has rebooted for some reason.

Question:  are the items that we lose in this situation stored when you "save settings" or some other way?    Is there an "autosave" function in the program that would trigger a save on some defined frequency?

From the documentation, it seems that the "configuration" only stores boat length, polars (the polar file name?), sailchart (file name?) and advanced optimal routing settings.  What triggers the saving of Display State changes?

Thank you,

Adam

Re: Autosave?

Try the save settings function - it stores most things.

Re: Autosave?

I'm quite familiar with the save settings function.  My question is whether there is an auto-save function.  If it doesn't exist today, then it would be a feature request, as it makes no sense to have to lose information in a crash or reboot.

There isn't.
