I just noticed this thing:

when I set p and s and then add a first mark from bearing and distance why expedition use p and not s as reference point of axis?

usually race commite use it's position and sometimes weather mark ribman adjust it to the centre of the line, but not on p position.

I run this simulation,
put a p and s point, it is a large starting line, around 700 mt and than set the first mark with bearing 90° and distance 1 nm.
