Optimal Routing While Racing
If I try and Optimize while racing, I check Use Instrument Wind and get an error: No Wind Loaded.
Do I need to previously have downloaded a weather grib?

Yes --- use Instrument Wind uses the instrument wind for the time 0 and blends it into the grib wind as time advances.
So without grib wind the router can't do its job.
