no worries.
I have, however, found this in the manual:
"to watches....via an ANT connection from a GPSmap plotter"

does it mean you can send data to the ANT network? or is it simply the same data and the plotter forwards it?
it would not work with a USB ANT device, would it now?

how far into the future?
can I have the DTW sent out to my network somehow in a way I can catch it in programatically (like without going thru an NMEA decoder) and then I think I can get it trigger the API from Garmin...

Hi Nick
I think with the new GPS selection, it would be nice to have more like a 'GPS priority', and if one falls out, switch to the next one? I have one GPS receiver that sometimes sends 0-0-0 coordinates and its really annoying on the track.

HI
we just finished a night regatta, and even though I set the theme to black and mode to night, there were white boxes around the names of the marks, and the whole course box. I could hide the latter but not the former, and it was really bad for my night vision as I was at the helm. Is there a way to set every white box to black?

thanks

So is it averaging multiple sources or selects one?

Hi
my onboard GPS (raymarine) is not that precise, so I bought a USB unit, which is great, but positioned in a less ideal place, so it sometimes drops signal. However, if I leave both on, the raymarine will create jumps, and jagged lines on the track. Leaving only the USB one up would create holes in the track....is there a way to set one of the sources as 'backup', so the USB has priority over the Raymarine?

thanks
Balazs

I actually bothered Nick with this before, and asked him to implement communication with Virb360. It would be great to have it turn on record before buoys, or over 100% polar, etc. There is an RTSP stream too

It actually works on the boats laptop (I was trying a backup) so I just deleted it and used from there.
By the way, can you have it installed on two laptops at all, or one will 'kill' the other? could that be the problem?

Hi
I haven’t started Exp for a while, you see, but i just wanted to play around for a possible trip. I added new ENC maps and when I hit optimise I got the error in the title. I checked and the expedition license is ok, what else could it be?

Thanks

That’s very similar to what I thought I’ll do - except I was planning to emulate usb keystrokes. Since you can assign custom keys in Exp, that seemed a much more flexible approach. I have already started designing a waterproof 3D printed case.
