Also just been through an issue of losing connection - what was happening was Expedition was restarting and connection settings were reverting to disabled.  Version 1.40 firmware, tried mode forced to N2K and RAW same issue.
For my resolution, I went into Yacht Devices settings, unchecked all the N2K PGN, then added GPS only - was stable, then checked only the ones I needed to receive.  Has been faultless since.  I have not found which specific PGN selected caused mine to fall over.  This information may help in your case!

Gets instrument data for 3-5 seconds then freezes/crashes.
Tried system restore.
If unplug the Yacht Devices N2K->USB, tben app seems to work ok.
Ideas?

Actually I tried another 0183 feed in and that also causes app to crash - that is from Vesper AIS 0183

NMEA 2000 would be a far better option.

What are you getting from the Vesper?

I`ll get a NMEA dump later.

Trying to display pitch and heel in Expedition, with one of these DST810 transducers connected to a Raymarine STNG network.
Currently connecting to the STNG using a Vesper XB8000 to multiplex.  Have not had chance to try any other Multiplex or N2K to USB adaptors yet.
Can see the attitude data in the Airmar app, however not seeing Heel or Trim numberboxes populate.
Wondering if there is a sentence not being translated?  Any ideas?

Been playing with this and issue I have noted are as follows
- Cannot send route over network to Axiom (I am connected by USB to Vesper XB-8000 which is N2K to ST NG network)
- Navigation information anomalies - eg XTE displays reversed - if I am right of the rhumb shows as left.  Intermittently displays on i70`s, but not reliably
- Some data like DTW, BTW etc does display on the Axiom and i70`s

From experience, all this displays well on B&G Zeus and Garmin jumbos, but curious as to why the incompatibility with Raymarine.

has anyone had any luck with Raymarine Axiom/i series interfacing ?

I was told to set the Yacht Devices "Instruments" setting as the "Actisense NGT-1" by a learned associate as would periodically crash if set to Yacht Devices.  Still fully functional in the boat had this setup on.
Anyone else tested or tried that?

I'm still trying to resolve this and with help from the Raymarine engineer I think the NGT-1 might be the solution but can I check:
 1. Expedition can receive data from two inputs (I'm 100% certain it can but tripple checking nothing has changed)2. If have two feeds using the NGT1 using instruments settings I'd use Actisence ASCII setup for AIS and NMEA 183 from the plotter. Is this correct?
3. If we do end up with two feeds Raymarine are concerned I'll have to GPS feeds to expedtion. Can I switch one off in expedition?

You can check/un-check GPS in each of your instrument connections, as well as check/un-check NMEA sentences received or sent.

Simon,
I'm working on a similar problem with a Raymarine E Series (E-120) legacy Seatalk  (not the NG) .

I'm thinking now we need a multiplexer (MUX) to combine the Seatalk from the E120 and also the NMEA 0180 AIS data from the Icom M-204 VHF then feed them from  the MUX  through a USG-2 (or other) opto-isolator then to the PC.

Maybe one of the more data savvy forum members can chime in and confirm this or add some suggestions.

Have same issue and seen in past.
If C120 is connected by Seatalk (1) ie the 3 pin plug, AIS is not a recognised command is what I came up with.
However the C120 has a NME0183 port and a Seatalk(2) 5 pin or the HS.
I havent used the Seatalk2 option which is apparently similar to N2K speak, but have used the NMEA0183 @ 38400 AIS setting from the C120 to get AIS from a GME and Vesper AIS units in the past.

If unit is connected Seatalk(1) to wind/BSP/GPS, connecting the AIS to NMEA0183 works, or can output 0183 from the C120 also into some 0183->USB option, or muplitplexor to mix ST and 0183 into something for laptop.
