I think that if you have selected NMEA 0183 AIS as the settings and aren't seeing anything in the raw data window, then one of the settings wont' be correct.

It is more which charting you wish to use. ENCs are also a little faster.

x64 will be a little faster and can use much larger grib files.

Btw, I have noticed some people aren't getting prompted for a new key.

I don't know anything about Raymarine, but I believe so. The main exception is Garmin.

See here (they haven't updated it for Exp yet):

They are a different product.

These are the Navionics+ and Platinum+ charts available on SD card.

Also, not the Navionics charts for Garmin plotters which are different.

You should have it now. The time zone is a little different down-under.

Yes, it is an upgrade.

Always use the help installed with Exp first.

Exp uses the heading to work out where the bow is.

It has to be heading.

Distance to the line numbers are teh sailing distances, including turns. There is also a distance below line number.

After 9 month of intensive work, Expedition 12 is now available.

This is the single largest upgrade in Expedition history and almost no area has been untouched.

The most noticeable new feature is support for the excellent and very highly regarded Navionics+ and Platinum+ charting.

Expedition 12 for Navionics is a 64 bit application for faster performance and larger weather data support.

The Expedition GRIB server has been improved and expanded with more model data available, including ECMWF AIFS, Australian ACCESS-C, Canadian HRDPS and others.

There are new Route, Tracking and AIS windows.

Many feature are noticeably faster, including ENCs.
