Hi Axyl. Thanks for the help.
I'm logging id 437 and 438 (MeasuredBoatSpeed1 & 2) and it's different from BSP; the difference looks to be the bs/heel correction, but not 100% sure. Next week I'm gonna log also id 403 (BoatSpeedCorr) and see what I understand.

I see that in version 11.6.0 the optimal routing polar% works correctly.
Thanks Nick.

Thanks,
what about the second question (routing over % polar?

I saw in the polars the possibility to assign a diffent percentage during day and night: in which way day and night are defined?
Also, if I assign a certain % to the nav polar and then I do an optimal routing over a range of polar% (P%), I have in the results that only the day polar scan over the different %, while the night is fixed to what I have assigned in the nav polar: is this done on purpose ? Wouldn't be better to scan over % also for the night ?
Thanks Nico

Hi everybody;
I've created a race note for the Antarctic Exclusion Zone (v2). If someone is interested in having it, I am happy to share via email.

In the log file there are TimeToLine, Burn, RchTmToLn..
If I use Hold Wind/current in the start, are these times saved in the log based on the hold wind/current or on the real twd/tws/tide/set which are saved in the log ?

Hi.
If I'm correct, there is only the possibility to have a 5min roll contdown.
In training, it happens to do 3/4 min rolling starts.
It would be good to have a "roll button", that if selected, would make the timer rolling.
Thank,
Nico

Hi Nick, thanks for the explanation.
I know reality is different than a model prediction.
I used your same approach (prediction vs track) on average typical turn to compare with my computations (btw, I have analyzed  25/30 racing & training port to starboard tacks in prestart, in order to have an idea of average tack).
Still have not study in deep the brake function. Tomorrow I'll do.
Living in Italy, now in quarantine due to covid19, we have lot of free time .
Ciao, Nicolò
