Networking Issues » Keyspan serial port adapter v2 » 7/20/2019 11:30 pm |
hi Nick
Does the connection page say open or closed in the Exp interface? - Where would it say this?
It's a bit of both on the connections - I was wondering if it was the key span but there always seems to be a constant stream of data coming through when we look at it through PuTTy. I have a spare I can try...
just wondered if there was a known conflict
Networking Issues » Keyspan serial port adapter v2 » 7/20/2019 11:20 pm |
Hi folks,
I am using a Keyspan 4 serial ports to USB adapter with my PC and I keep losing the com ports when I open expedition. it seems totally random whether expedition can see them or not.
I have PuTTy on my computer and this is picking up data from the com ports without fail - have checked all of the baud rates etc and everything seems to be working, the com ports are transmitting data but expedition just doesn't always pick it up.
Any advice really appreciated
Thank
Pip
Technical Q&A » yb tracking not displaying » 6/27/2018 1:34 am |
hi NIck
I have a couple of glitches with the yb tracking feature.
I can't seem to delete or clear old boats from the boats menu - I select all and press delete and it says no boat selected. even when selecting one by one it still gives the same message.
i am trialling importing the minifastnet at the moment and the boats won't display. i have gone into the settings menu and checked the box in race tracking but still nothing.
can you give some advice?
Thanks

Technical Q&A » expedition will not start » 5/14/2018 7:55 am |
Last night I installed a load of NOAA ENC charts on expedition - running on windows 7 - everything was ok. I shut down the computer and on start up this morning expedition will not start. There is no message. The computer thinks about it for a bit then just does nothing.
Any ideas what the problem might be? We are due to go offshore for 1400 miles tomorrow.....
thanks
