Hey all,

I love using worldchart.chx, but it doesn't seem to be showing land anymore, just cities.   Any idea what setting is responsible for this? Also I am not able to zoom out from a viewing area of 10 degrees latitude.

I'd attach a picture, but I guess I can only embed URLs, not image files, so just image what it looks like?

Okay, maybe a nice feature for next update.

Would be great if we could easily re-arrange the order of the pages without having to change all the data and layouts to do so.  Is there something I am missing?

Yes I found the website and made a request yesterday and saw that.  The website is very easy to use on it's own, so this is great compared to other options I have looked at.

Thanks

It would be really great if we could have a dongle for our expedition license, easy to be able to use home / boat etc.  Something to consider someday maybe.

i have been switching to the new reanalysis data access method- python scripts still work.., and my first impression is that it might be faster; all my requests are processed within minutes, rather than some taking an hour or so, as was happening in the past.

Do you have any interest in sharing your scripts?  I knew a little bit about a lot of programming languages, but not enough to do anything meaningful with any of them, ha....

I have not used the redport optimizer, but what about a general hardware firewall (such as a pepwave BR1 router) and setting web traffic blacklisting and only allowing sites you know you are going to use.  Anyone have any experience with this?

Anyone used the Dell Latitude 7212.  Same IP rating as the FZ-G1 but better / newer hardware.

I like the stylus on the panasonic and the dell is a capacitive type screen which I haven't had the best experiences thus far.

I'd love the xplore as Will mentioned, but I can't justify that price currently.

Nick,

Thanks I guess I mis-understood your comment about the GoFree setting start line ends being that functionality in H5000 websocket settings.

All,

I have tried to get this to work and still have had no luck.  Here are some things I have tried.

1. In expedition, H5000 websocket connection, there is a use gofree, send nav data, and send waypoint check boxes.  These don't seem to have any impact on the B&G displayed values.   The waypoint remains as one set on one of the vulcan 7/9 displays (I couldn't figure out how to clear goto waypoint on vulcan to see if it was overriding).

2. With Actisense interface, I tried sending waypoint data PGNs.  I also changed setting on Vulcan display under Settings | Network | NMEA2000 and checked "receive waypoint."   This seemed like it should work but the network continued to show the existing Vulcan waypoint.   I also was looking for contact B&G support about this setting to see what is required, but I can't seem to find any contact info for a support department on their website.

I have also not figured out how to get the B&G to receive the start line from expedition.  Is it is as simple as checking "use gofree" in the H5000 websocket settings?

Thanks for your help,

-Z
