I have "Ping marks at bow (else GPS)" ticked...i'm not clear on the setting i need to ping a start mark without compass telemetry

Under Start -> Set Port -> Set Port end at Bow, I click OK and get the error. Currently Exp isn't receiving compass, but does have GPS, do I need to choose instead one of the Port End options, like Remote?

Hi,
When I check the runtimes on various AU WRF gribs they seem to have last run Jan 3rd, and thats the dates for the downloaded data it appears too. Is there a known issue?

Attempting to ping start mark from boat position I received error "Start: No position"

GPS connected to laptop, Exp accurately following boat.

I haven't been able to find anything obviously related in Exp Help...any ideas where user error is coming in?

Note: Exp laptop was not receiving any data from boat instruments, but was connected to a USB GPS that worked whole race. I have pinged successfully in the past and had start line running

I'm not seeing all the events I expected when checking Sail -> Events, but the ones in there do show up when loading a log file in Stripchart.
Also setting an Event right now, and loading log file in stripchart I get the blue line of the event.

Will confirm with events underway this weekend, but I don't think I have the issue OP does, or it was transient and now perhaps resolved.
