@Nick: That's correct..Stupid error as I changed the IP of the virtual server. However it does not always connect, for an unknown reason.

I created the NMEA Proxy for sailonline.org, but I cant figure what settings should be done in Expedition to read the data from this virtual NMEA server?

At each startup the screen "WARNING - LIMITATION ON USE" is shown.
When the Expedition software is set in Windows to start once the computer is starting, it does not start unless the user clicks on OK. I suppose that if Ventus is connected to Expedition on a Tablet on the deck, an user should click on "OK" on the main computer, which could not be easily accessible (did not tested, this is a supposition).
There should be an option as in any other software, to check an option like "Do not show this warning anymore".
Please indicate if there is any configuration file where it can be manually set to not show this warning at startup.

@barne Thank you for the hint. That's correct, there is a backup GPS and 2 chartplotters with their own GPS.

Is the NGT-1 interface useful in the start when pinging the buoys from Expedition/Ventus and at the start gun? Or why it is important to overcome this GPS latency introduced by H5000 (ie some computations made in Expedition)?

@us7070 I plan to upgrade to NGT-1 till spring, but I make the list of all upgrades that need to be made.
Most probably there is a point with GPS as Nick pointed that NGT-1 is useful to remove latency associated with the GPS data being forwarded by the H5000. But all the other data is not coming as well with a certain latency from H5000? Some data has more latency?
Indeed is hard to understand, but I just trust that Nick has the best understanding of the entire system NMEA2000 + H5000 + Expedition. If he can explain, it would be useful for all.
In any case I will acquire NGT-1, even if I have no AIS.
Except AIS data there is any other data that is not provided by H5000 trough websocket (i.e. load from a loadcell amplifier), but that can be used or logged by Expedition?

In order to include images, this is one very simple solution:
1. Create a document in your google drive account
2. Insert the image in that document, Usually I am using print screen button and Microsoft Paint to crop and edit the image or a snipping tool to capture screen shots.
3. Resize and/or crop the image in the document if you need a smaller image.
3. Copy the image from that document by clicking on it and then by using CTRL+C and then paste it in the post by using CTRL+V.
Example:
I did not tested yet what happens when the image is deleted from the document, but below is an image that I will delete from the document:
Hope it helps.
LATER EDIT: I already deleted the image from google docs document, and is still here. Most probably it is in the versioned google doc, I am not deleting that file on google docs.Most probably than once deleting that file from the trash as as well, the images will not be seen anymore.

If the compass is a DGPS one, such as Simrad HS75 (), then the heading is computed based on the differential position of two GPS antenna.
Should then the Heading be taken also from the NGT-1 and ignored from H5000?

B&G manual for H5000 is misleading.
I just realized that the information I read was from sailing anarchy forum, not from the expedition forum and it was from 2015.

I tried to figure how to use the simulator that you mentioned that is built into Expedition, but even if I see it mentioned in the manual, there is no such option under the ”Applications” menu, even if the other applications mentioned in the user manual, are there. Should something be installed/configured?
