My replacement (Used) Toughpad has come without GPS (schoolboy error not checking ) Normally i VNC etc on deck as normal but it is handy on the odd occasion to have it operate as a stand alone. I have a dongle ND100s. I can get a good position fix in GPS Viewer so it is working. Blowed if i can get it to find it in Exp. Suspect i am doing something wrong or its not possible how i am doing it. Pics attached showing dongle working and the Exp Instruments panel. I know it is getting the signal through com port 4 but don’t know what to tell the Exp instruments panel to look for on Com 4. To save me trying every option and still failing anyone got previous from a laptop installation for instance?

Hi I am on the new download Exp 11.14.05 and Expedition weather downloads are working ok for me.
I can't seem to download anything from Saildocs though. Has something changed or is something down.
I notice the empty grib file in the folder is showing up with an unusual extension ie. "SD_GFS_06Jan22_140011.grb.bz2" but no Kb of data.

Any ideas or should I start a new thread? Came across this after nothing new came up on "Saildocs" search.

In Optimal routing advanced, has the tick box for motoring if under fixed sailing speed moved recently or has it gone missing?

Hi sure its me missing something simple.
I just downloaded a forecast from the Exp weather and get "No Wind at Start" error in optimal. I downloaded the same from SailDocs and it works without changing any settings. Tried 1st leg in case I ran out of wind. Checked 1st mark in the water (done that before) Checked in grib folder and the file is there, with content. 

Any ideas seems a recent change.
