Wouldn’t that overwrite their old routes?

Hi
I am on a race charter, and created about 60 routes on my computer. I imported the DAT file on the boat computer and it gave me all the waypoints but none of the routes made from them. The only way I found is to export one by one as GPX and import it, but thats really slow. Is there a way to bring them all in from another expedition computer to another?
thanks

Right. I have it around one shoulder too. And when you lift it up to look at it, do you undo the bungee around the waist, it has enough elasticity to still hold on?

Then, some 4mm bungee to the top lugs (bottom when over shoulder), with a clip on on one end. This is to go around the waist. This keeps the mesa from swinging around, and can 'park' it on your back when grinding/hiking etc, but easily returned to the front and raised to view the screen.
I was wondering how do you grind with the screen. I was thinking a waist strap, but do you disconnect it when you want to raise it? And does it not ‘bounce forward’ when grinding?
Thanks

I was wondering if the Orca marine tablet would be a good answer. Supposedly bright, runs for 8 hours and doesn’t turn off when hot. Runs Android.
I’m not affiliated. I bought their core and like it, support is nice, although they are somewhat drowned in requests about their navigation app.
General Discussion » drone buoys position broadcast? » 9/20/2023 11:17 am |
Hi all,
I just finished a race where the pin end and the first buoy in the coastal races were drone buoys. Obviously the RC took the opportunity to change their position - which is what they were designed to do. But it occurred to me, is there a way to receive these buoys over AIS or other ways, to have a constant position update? Obviously the GPS in them will be very precise, and AIS is mostly required anyway for these boats, so it wouldn't be something that is only available to some competitors. I am sure others thought of this before me. So is there a way to get this into expedition?
Thanks
Questions about Expedition features » Handicap calc » 9/11/2023 6:11 am |
I tried the handicap calc over the weekend, and couldnt quite grasp it.
I understand to set the race start to all boats to start, but there is no way to manually add a start time? I wanted to watch a boat that started in a different class.
I also got thew way you click on a boat to store its mark rounding time, but my skipper wanted to know how much we owe a boat during the foreseeable lenght of the regatta (around 5 hours). I couldnt enter a finish time manually. I ended up downloading a handicap calculator app, but I was wondering if this is a possibility to do inside Exp I just missed.
Thanks

how can I attach a file here? I can send it to you.
this is the Optimist championship, I pressed replay, and right side under START you can see a small CSV icon. Press the right arrow next to START and you can find the first buoy.

thanks...I want to see/practice handicap data from the upcoming Rolex Maxi Cup and they seem to be TracTrac only. I however noticed they publish a CSV by the buoys, with standings. Could that may be imported? (I tried to attach the csv but couldtnt. Its in the event page, top right there is a stopwatch, and under it there is a csv icon)
