Just a quick note to sat that the Ocean Race North (Charleston to Newport) was cancelled for 2016. The future looks doubtful for this version, as well as the Charleston-Annapolis version on odd years.

Only three boats signed up for the 2016 version: Privateer, Teasing Machine and Triage.

We were looking forward to it, but are now changing plans to accommodate the delivery to Newport, as well as do the Down The Bay race, instead.

Just wanted to let folks now who might have been keeping an eye on it as a possible event for the future.
