    Course boundaries and exclusion zones

    Hi all,

    I'm fairly new to Expedition and slowly finding my way around. What I can't find is how to set boundaries for a course or route, exclusion zones etc.. these could be TSS regions, ice limits, whatever.. Routing should know about these boundaries and not enter the exclusion zones. I know it has to be in there somewhere, but where?

    It's called "race notes" or "notes" in Expedition.  
    Goto the 'Sail"panel and add a new note.   You can edit the properties of a note to indicate e.g. if the area should be avoided by optimal routing.

    Ahh HA .. thanks. I thought it might have something to do with notes, Found a reference to notes in the Will Oxley book that I have but I couldn't find notes in help and also had a blind spot whilst looking for it in the tool bars... thanks
