Start Line assumptions

Just wondering what the assumptions are for the start line times.
Does it use the speed you are presently traveling or your max polar speed possible for the angle that you are sailing?
Are the speeds at the botttom the Polar Speeds or the Speed that you need to sail to get to the line on time?

Re: Start Line assumptions

It uses your present speed and the start polar. If you are slower than the polar, it will accelerate you to the polar speed.
