I ran the API routine on the boat laptop and it worked as expected. I had been using the desktop for post race pondering and had the problem described.
Do you want any particulars for the forensics, or just move on? Sorry for the bother.

It sounds like a database error. You could delete the expedition.mdb or make a new one

I'm trying to download not only the latest but also the past locations from yb (for ps650_2019).
As far as I understand to load past positions I have to select "multiple positions" in the yb tracking menu (?)
When I do that I get the error message "the server name or address could not be resolved"
