Tidetech: Currents in grib files and online tidemap not the same. Why?
Hello,
when comparing the currents from Tidetech online in Tidemap and as grib file in Expedition I noticed that they are not the same.
Here is an example from the Solent UK files. Same location, same time (20.00 CEST):
Anyone noticed the same and has an explanation?

This looks so different that it makes me think that you have different times in one setting or another. Is your PC clock set the same as the locality? Just asking ...
Failing that, contact Penny of Tidetech; she is very approachable.
And I'd love to know the answer!

I asked Tidetech support but didn't receive an answer yet. So I thought I might get a quicker solution here...
Could you please PM me Pennys contact?
Laptop is set to CEST / UTC+2.
Tidemap is also set to CEST. (Just like Expedition Tidemap takes the time from the PCs settings with also an option to switch to UTC, so the delta to UTC is a good check)
