External / Remote channels with NMEA 0183 connection to B&G H3000

Hello,
is it possible to send data from Expedition to a B&G H3000 when the connection to the instrument system is established by a NMEA 0183 connection? Or is a HLink connection required for this?

I've an H2000, and my set up uses HLink for passing data back for display (which works very well). I believe it might be possible to pass some data back to a system without HLink via an NMEA 0183 feed - this hints at it (http://www.euronav.co.uk/products/leisure/seaPro_Performance_Sailing/seaProPerformSailing.htm) in the mast displays section, but I never explored it as I switched to a Hercules, with HLink, and Expedition.

Yes, it must be HLink.

There are some custom items (pol bsp% etc) in H2000 that are sent if Hydra is selected as the instrument type. See the Exp help.

However, I don't know if these made it to H3000.
