    No magnetic variation midel found

    Hi guys, Just jumped on to an old version of expedition, and i have a few issues, im guessing are related to each other:
    When I start up, I get this error bout magnetic variation, but cant seem to find anything on the website.
    When in race view, the boat is pointing 90 degrees the wrong way.
    The course, and ais targets, keep flashing on and off the screen.
    Do you have any ideas about any of these?
    windows 7, 32bit, says it was installed in 2011

    The answer is very simple.  You need to update the software.  
    There have been very many big, important changes to the tool over the last 6 years.  The magnetic variation was just one.
