I realize this is a pretty far fetched idea.  That being said, Exp does some pretty amazing stuff; so here goes.....

It would be nice to select an area, (maybe click and drag as we do in Weather) then have a race note created at a specified depth.

At first thought this seems extremely complicated, but new electronic charts allow interactive shading at specified depths, so maybe possible.
