    Icom M510-TR serial connection

    Hi,
    I have installed Icom M510-TR Ais and tries to receive AIS data via serial USB port. In other tools I can open the serial port and receive data. In Expedition the port status is open but I don't see any data in the Raw window or on the map.

    I also have had problems with sockets not being reliable, trying to connect to Zeus plotter for getting AIS data via the plotter. But H5000 websocket is stable.

    Tried to reinstall Expedition and also remove data folder, but I see that the connection settings remains. Is it stored somewhere else?

    The instrument settings are saved in Windows' registry. Expedition System restore can be used to delete those.

    Which connection type did you select. NMEA 0183 AIS is probably a best guess as the baud rate is higher.

    Check the NMEA settings are enabled to receive VDM.
