Cape Town to St Helena

Any other Free Grib Sources for this patch of ocean besides GFS / ECMWF that maybe more accurate.
Departing CT - Jan 9.
Large high moving in along rhumb line.  Routes favor hugging coast to some degree for first several days.
Models also appear to show a significant east shift when wind crosses land.  This seems to be borne out looking at actual wind stations vs the models.  Does anyone have direct experience if this shift is persistent and how far offshore it may extend?  any local knowledge?   Is hugging the surfline a good strategy to play this shift (if it is real)

Thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

Saildocs in Exp also has an option for GFS FV3.

Re: Cape Town to St Helena

Thank you for that suggestion.
Skipper has reported the model has been very accurate for this leg.
